Minimum requirements to connect

  • Minimum number of properties: 1

  • Property type must be set to one of the following types: Bed and breakfast, Chalet, Guest house, Lodge, Resort, Villa, Castle, Boat, Cottage, Camping, House or Cabin.

  • Licence number is provided.

Integration model

Sync type PULL
Static data sync Static data is pulled by Glamping Hub upon initial property connection. If the static content needs to be updated, you need to request it directly to the Glamping Hub. Then, a Glamping Hub representative schedules a manual data update.
Availability, Rates & Inventory sync

Dynamic data (e.g prices) is pulled by Glamping Hub in real time, upon a set of stay dates are checked by the guest on the website.

Other dynamic data that is displayed on the website is synchronised once a day.

Instant bookings Yes
Booking requests Yes. The booking request is not sent to Rentals United until it is confirmed. If the host has request-only bookings activated, they will have to log in and respond to the booking request in the Glamping Hub dashboard. Once it is confirmed, the information will transfer over to Rentals United.
Quote requests Yes (availability, minimum stay, rates, and fees)
Reservation sync Glamping Hub pushes reservations to Rentals United.
Reservation modifications

Reservation modifications via Rentals United are not synchronised with Glamping Hub.

If hosts decide to modify a booking, they need to email support@glampinghub.com.

If guests decide to modify, they need to email support@glampinghub.com. After the Glamping Hub team modifies the booking in their system, the booking will update in Rentals United.

Reservation cancellations

If hosts decide to cancel a booking, they need to email support@glampinghub.com.

If guests decide to cancel, the booking gets cancelled in Glamping Hub and these bookings will be cancelled in Rentals United, too.

Cancellation penalties If a host is cancelling a booking due to an extenuating circumstance (such as death, health, disaster, or weather related events), they will not be penalized. Otherwise, hosts can cancel a booking and a full refund will be provided to the guest. A penalization will be applied to the listing that will deboost it temporarily in the search results on Glamping Hub.

Pick & Choose

Pick & Choose, offers a curated selection of glamping, does vet and quality check of each accommodation that requests to be listed. Some of the requirements:

  • Immediate access to nature (e.g. you can go for a hike right from the accommodation)

  • Basic amenities provided (e.g. a bed, electricity, running water, linens, towels, pillows, etc.)

  • Good quality photos (photos must have a minimum width of 800px)

  • Not located in a residential area, no visible highways or buildings from the accommodation

  • No nylon camping tents or an empty camping/RV site

  • Accommodations are an individual structure (no rooms or suites)

Best practices When adding your accommodation to Glamping Hub, make sure the photos resemble a walkthrough of the property. Photos are the key. Explaining clearly the bedroom structure and surrounding area / amenities is also important for the users.

Charges & Payments

Charging party Glamping Hub charges the guest. The host is required to provide their bank details and set up their payout information when they sign up with Glamping Hub.Glamping Hub then releases the payment to the host’s bank account on the day of check-in.

Commission 4% on the confirmed bookings
Commission charging Glamping Hub charges the commission on the total booking, including taxes and fees

Contract & Onboarding

Average onboarding time Glamping Hub aims to have the account created and properties published and live on the site within 2 weeks of receiving the request. However, this may vary depending on whether the property is located in the target market and how many properties the host has.
